Bronze (1987-1992)

The "bronze" statues are founded on a reasoning. When sellling ceramics and also the selling of art in general was a problem, Pablo was advised to work in bronze. No matter how well he could have done it, it wasn't his cup of tea. His name and fame in connection with ceramics, and particularly by the trompe lóeil effects he put into his work, had been established. Ceramics was his passion. So he started to copy bronze. In this way a series of works of art were started, the first had the theme Bulls. After that various other works in "bronze" followed.
